Ed discusses the last day birding on the edge of the Sahara Desert and the drive to Ifrane, with stops for Lesser Short-toed Lark and Wood Lark.


Ed talks about birding near Merzouga, a gateway town on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Camels, SUVs, Birds, Sand Dunes and Bedoin Shepherds were aplenty.


On Day’s 7&8 of Ed’s Morocco Trip the group crosses the High Atlas Range twice, birds the plain between the High Atlas and the Anti-Atlas Ranges, and approaches the Sahara Desert.


Days 5 & 6 involves a really long day as the group travels from Marrakech to Agadir.

On Day 4 of the Morocco Trip Ed and the Legacy Tours group head to the High Atlas at a ski resort for a cold, wet, and foggy day of finging mountain specialties.


In a break from Morocco updates, Ed and Dalton Spencer talk about Dalton discovering birding, and bursting onto the Washington State birding scene.

On Day 3 of his Morocco Trip Ed and the group visit a couple of upland places before heading to Marrakech and checking out the Medina.


On the first two days of the Legacy Tours birding trip, Ed and the group tally about 100 species in multiple stops near the coast north of Casablanca.
